Once you complete an online application and find an available job in which you are interested, simply enter the position's job code on your application to be considered. Saline Area Schools is an equal opportunity employer. Individuals with disabilities needing assistance with online application process should call Human Resources at 734-429-8000 x2004. How to Apply for a Saline Schools Open Position
All applicants must complete an online application. Paper applications are no longer accepted. Please do not mail or bring in copies of your application, resume, transcripts, recommendation letters or additional support documents to district unless requested. Due to space limitations, unsolicited documents are immediately discarded. Computers are available in all public libraries for those who do not have internet access. If you have any questions, please call 734-429-8000 x2004 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Completing an Online Application
After accessing the District's online application, you will be asked to create an account that will require a username and password. Once an account has been created, you will be assigned an application number, which you should note for future reference. You do not have to complete your entire application at once; however, you must at least create an account for your online application to be saved in our database. Each time you complete a section of the application, you will need to click the "SAVE" button for that section of the application. You will not be considered for employment unless your application is complete.
Hint: we occasionally hear that someone is having problems saving their application. There are two possible causes. The first possibility is that the check box directly above the SAVE button is not checked. If this box is not checked the application appears to save, but does not. Another possibility is that the 90 minute auto logoff has occurred. The online application program will log you off after 90 minutes from the last time you saved.
Updating and Editing
It is important that your application be kept up-to-date at all times. E-mail address is our primary mode of communication due to the large number of applicants with whom we work. Please make sure all addresses, telephone numbers, name changes, additional degrees etc. are current.
Supporting Documents
Please do not mail or fax supporting documentation to our office unless requested. However, be prepared to bring the information with you if you are called for an interview. When attaching supporting documentation please submit only those files that are in easily converted formats. Recommended file types are .doc, .pdf and .jpg. Other formats may not be able to be opened.
