Last school year (2006/2007) Saline Area Schools contracted with GOOD MARKS FOR SCHOOLS, LLC (GMS) employee leasing services to provide substitutes for the district. Saline Area Schools no longer directly employs you; rather SAS uses the services of substitutes contracted by GMS This year other districts in Washtenaw County (i.e., Manchester, Chelsea, Ann Arbor, etc.) contracted with PESG for their substitute teaching pool leasing services. If you wish to sub in other districts in the county you will need to contact Washtenaw Intermediate School District (WISD) and sign up with PESG.

Every school district in Washtenaw will be using the AESOP automated substitute placement system; however you will receive your paycheck from GMS when subbing for Saline and PESG when subbing in other Washtenaw County schools.

If you register to work for GMS in the Saline Schools (and we hope you do!) you will be receiving an additional e-mail with your Aesop login information. This email will include other information on setting up your account. Please be sure to follow these instructions and watch the training videos available on your login page before you begin working. The videos and accompanying user guide will answer most, if not all, of your questions and concerns.

We hope you will find this new interactive system convenient and helpful in tracking your assignments. We look forward to having you as part of our substitute family. Enjoy the upcoming school year and thank you for your interest in Saline Area Schools.

Saline Area Schools is always looking for dependable substitute para-educators, bus drivers, custodians, food service assistants and clerical personnel.
